Arrow Undercover cop cars of Clark County

I thought this might be beneficial to folks if we keep track of what's out there. Now that cop cars can look like a Prius, Honda or _____, it would be nice to spot them before they can spot us.
If you can't take a pic, just put a description, location and approximate time.

I saw a grey Dodge Charger with a civilian plate, mid-afternoon at the intersection of Falk Rd & 500 on 8/13. It had a Police Interceptor badge on the rear truck lid. Also had black and chrome aftermarket wheels similar to the pic below.
Spotted at a traffic light near my house. See the flashers in the rear window?

I was riding down Barbur Blvd toward Tigard from Portland a little above the speed limit and began to pass a black SUV. No markings. I heard a little whoop, whoop and slowed to find out what that was. I looked over at the SUV and saw a policeman sitting in it. He was just giving me a friendly warning. Sort of cool.

Im in complete disagreement with all the undercover BS, police cars should be plainly marked and of similar body style. Half police work was a presence driving thru a neighborhood, being seen, so whats the real point of these undercover sniper cars??? Just got tax payer dollars To blow i guess. Im not going to pull over for some unmaked import, ill wait till there is an actual marked police car behind me.

that tightness you feel in your chest when you think about it? that's the point. it's The Man telling you something. whether it makes any sense to you is irrelevant to him.

In my experience most people have no qualms about the concept of undercover law enforcement...so long as theyíre after the other guy.

This is nothing new. Through the years I've seen a yellow 2002 WRX, fully murdered out '95 Bronco, etc...

At least some of the more interesting choices seem to be cars that are gotten through impounding and re-purposed for undercover cop duty.

I agree. Stupid part is WA even has a state law that specifically says unmarked cars are not for traffic enforcement. But then they go an add WSP is allowed to do it at the discretion of the chief. Load of baloney if you ask me.

I like riding that way.
I was going home from a night shift one time... about 130ish... empty divided highway... slowed down to take my exit and noticed headlights behind me. Undercover WSP. He must have been hauling ass to catch up. Said he pegged me at 107 taking the exit. The justification in my mind that I wasnít hurting anyone and there wasnít even anyone around to hurt *if* I had lost control didnít seem like it would have any effect so I kept my mouth shut.

I still haul ass. I still mean mug undercover cops from the safety of my mirrored visor. And I still want to lanesplit (unrelated but I canít help it).

I remember a law that basically said that the only the WSP can have unmarked police vehicles unless the city/county received a special waiver for each vehicle from the state.

The Law says lots of things. What they DO is another thing altogether. It's basically their ballgame now; the "security" men. They stole the world and we let 'em.

Shh! C'mon, man, it's like you want the unmarked black SUVs to come for you.

Look at the positives these undercover traffic cops pull over alot of assholes, drunks, dangerous, distracted drivers. Many of them have no insurance or license. That none of us want to share the road with. Im all for it. Try driving a commercial vehicle then come tell me about over enforcement, And regulations.
