Went there yesterday after reading all about it for the last month. Couple hundred bikes, thousand maybe, people. Iím a little let down cause Iím expecting more older rides. There was an overwhelming number of new sport bikes, adventure types and Harleyís. Not exactly the original vision of the promoters but thatís what showed. Early style cafe style, just a few. I took my 83 GS 1100E. A 350 mile round trip for me. If I lived closer maybe Iíd go more often but for what was there once is enough.

Ever since they moved to their new location, it's been a lot more Harley's and a bit less of the older or vintage bikes...and definitely seems to be less cafe/rat/garage built bikes. I think the location is nice for the lack of hassle from the neighborhood and parking, but it's also a bit of a hassle to get to...and maybe not as convenient? Although this last time I went a lot later than usual (around 7:30) and traffic was nothing compared to trying to get there at 5. Perhaps word will get out that going later is better? Dunno.
