I missed the full ride wknd this year, but did ride with group from Kennewick halfway to Baker on Friday.
Photos ...

Discussion at our first stop 50 miles later - we unintentionally left congested starting point parking lot
by two different directions (got separated at the very first turn!) but successfully met up at the 1st identified stop point of grain elevators.

Stopping spot for lunch - Ukiah

Lunch - Mcrider007, UhOh, Chadams66, Larry, BuckWheet

Thanks to Steve for again organizing the weekend. Had great time.

Cecil, was a shame you missed it. Hope to see you at the next Baker City run.

Had a hoot going through Medicine Sprikngs, Union, North Powder and up and over Anthony Lakes. Thanks to Pete, John, Larry and Thad for a great day of riding.

Made it home fine. Got rained on at the end of Sunday, so instead of my usual camping I hunkered down in a hotel in Goldendale. Glad I did, as the skies opened up and let loose with a torrent of water.

Got home Monday at around 5PM. I was thinking of camping, but the weather was still suspect. made it home to a very pleasant blue sky, but glad I pushed through, as Tuesday was another windy, rainy day.

All in all, I had another great weekend riding and socializing. Thanks to everyone!

Given the current level of Covid-19 new infections, the only way there is going to be a 2020 Baker City ride is if someone, other than myself, organizes it.

Ride Safe!

On the one hand 20 or 30 attendees isn't a quarter-million; but on the other, reasonable precautions might take some of the the fun out of it.

I'd probably pitch a tent beside the Powder River rather than stay at the Oregon Trail Motel, assuming it's even open. But if the restaurants and pubs have outside seating a little spacious out-hanging and elbow-raising would be practical.

The cool thing about motorcycling is that -- when you're actually motorcycling -- the social distancing takes care of itself.

Just spitballin' here.

Aaaarrrggghhhhh...staying in any motel would seem to be something like playing russian roulette...it's going to a long time until May...

I'm spending quite a bit of time in Bend lately with my new friend and Oregon is mostly open with some precautions and we had dinner tonight in a nice restaurant downtown.
