Street tires on a dirt bike - tire pressure suggestions!

Hello!

I knew it wouldn't be long before I started missing the track. So, I bought a set of street tires for my dirt bike. 2.75 21 inch front, 130/80 18 inch rear... with tubes. I mounted them up, removing the rim locks along the way. The bike is a 250cc four stroke.

I haven't a clue where to begin with tire pressure. Does anyone have any suggestions for a starting point? The tires are a cheap Chinese brand, no real help from the manufacturer...

Thanks!

26-30 depending on track and feel. At least that is what I run in my 250 supermoto and 300cc supersport.

Is there a rating on the tire? What is the weight of the bike?
I'm no expert, far from it, but the tire manufacturer has engineered each tire to operate at a safe temperature in a stated range of inflation pressures, at recommended maximum load, and in a stated speed range.
There is simply no (safe) way to guess.
Sorry I'm not much help. I just don't want you to get messed up because of improper inflation.

26 front, 28 rear on my Husky SM with tubes. The bike sits at about 360 lbs full of fuel. You could probably get away with less pressure since your bike might be lighter.

Just don't do it.

Instead of the tire changes, get a second bike with street tires already on it!
