The next MotoGP champion?!?

Well, maybe, this is Maverick Vinales with his former team owner, Paris Hilton. Mav rode for Paris in 2011 on her 125GP team. Lately he has been riding the Suzuki MotoGP bike to impressive results, he won the British GP this year! He also signed to replace Jorge Lorenzo on the factory Yamaha, teaming with Valentino Rossi for 2017. He had his first chance to ride the Yamaha the last 2 days during the post season testing in Valencia. His first time on the bike he was fastest of all riders present including WC Marc Marquez, Rossi, Lorenzo, and all the rest on both days! That boy can get down!

His eyebrows now are totally supervillain eyebrows. I hope he deposes MM just to prove that he's human after all.

Her rack appears unnatural, but his talent seems like the real deal. No implants or augmentation there.

Nice job on the pic there, Pete...i forgot (5 years ago already, he was 16 in that pic), that he rode for that pump slut Paris...forgive my slang..that's what she is, right? I'm gonna go ahead and guess that that "rack" is due to the push up bra she's so enthusiastically sporting..not that i'm complaining.

Anywhoo...i been watchin the Valencia testing the last couple of days on bein sports, excellent coverage with the Euro race announcers, Nick Harris and co. I could watch that stuff all day. Gotta love that KTM is in the mix, Alex Espargaro is kickin ass on the Aprilia, Loren"tho" looks good on that bad ass all black 2017 desmosedici..should be a helluva season next year. I think bein is gonna show some of the Sepang(?) tests next weekend. Zarco looked good, Crutchlow was high on the time sheet, weather was great, what a tuff life..im not jealous at all.

Some of you guys seem a bit desperate. The main team owner was SuperMartxe, a company that promotes parties all over the world. They felt that a MotoGP association would get Spanish kids to go to their parties. Hilton appeared at these parties fairly often. She wanted to buy into the team and so they worked out a contract deal. Apparently her contract included a requirement: famous for being wealthy and making a sex tape personality shows up at at least six races and gets picture taken for exclusive use by SuperMartxe. She didn't fulfill that obligation and was being sued for breach of contract before the season was over.

There is a great quote somewhere to the effect of "Yes, I have a race team now. We won a big race they have in France. I am so proud."

Actually most of the teams are headed for Jerez next week, only Yamaha is going to Sepang. Then it's quiet till Feb. Zarco did look good, but his new teammate at Tech 3, Folger, beat him both days. It looks fun, but I'm not jealous of Rins!

No doubt, couple of fractured vertebrae has gotta suck..but they said he'd only be out for a month or so..I wonder if i can apply for that gig while he rests up I like Zarco, he stays cool under pressure, is not afraid to mix it up, even when things are "sewed up", and has that killer instinct. Not bad for a French guy! Lotsa Moto2 guys movin up, saw that Karel Abraham was back in the mix, Bradl moving to WSBK? Too many guys movin around to keep track of. I need to get meself the newest edition of RacerX..

That would be pretty cool. If Aprilia and KTM can put together teams, it seems Kawi could given how well they've done in WSBK lately.

Talking apples to apples they *could* just about enter their current machine into GP and expect to place in the top 15.
For example
The Track record in MotoGP at Losail circuit was set by Jorge Lorenzo on the Yamaha at 1:54.9
The Kawasaki WSBK record at Losail this year was 1:56.8

MotoGP is less forgiving though and we're talking lap records, not actual racing. I'm sure someone could make an argument against what I've just said.

Oh Snap.

I'd like to see a season where the winner isn't a complete run away, where the champion isn't crowned until the last race.
