Looks like a bolt on corner to me but it could be fun, even more elevation change.

I don't care so much about the chicane, but this...

"The new pedestrian bridge, meanwhile, will allow fans to walk from the paddock to the track’s interior, something that hasn’t been possible before. There, spectators will have access to new Fan Zones complete with newly constructed, elevated, permanent grandstands. The Fan Zones will provide viewing opportunities at the new Chicane and the first corners of the track as well as Turns Eight, Nine, 10, 11, 12, 13..."

Yea... bout damn time. A 2.5 mile track and all you can see is 200 yards of it as a spectator. Watching them fire out of the last turn is cool but we all want to watch guys corner their very capable machines. My GF's been there twice with me for track days and wonders what the rest of the track looks like. Super excited to see all the improvements. I'll be attending the motoamerica races and hope to take in the views from a different perspective... finally!!

So it'll be a 19 turn track now?

Wonder if the new chicane will be an option (for or against use) with track day providers
car n bike?

Can't say I'm initially pleased hearing about the "on track" modifications, as turn 1 can be daunting, especially with traffic/pit out, but an area to improve the craft, which I was hoping to build up to in the coming years, at least corner entry, since it affects the momentum and lines all the way to turn 4 (now 7?).

The other infrastructure stuff is great (bridge/viewing areas), though I hope they still hope they allow pre track day camping.
