Talked to a couple of guys working there (in the bathrooms/showers) on Thursday at a Turn 2 car trackday fundraiser for Camp Goodtimes 8/4/16), I threw out a distant date of completion in October, they said it'll be done before then.

120+ or so dudes at a motorcycle track day sharing 3 toilets, hope 1 doesn't get clogged by an epic duce...

Water etc traveling downslope is a good thing. Even if it took awhile or years, it easy to complain about how long it took, but some progress has been made, maybe slower than participants would have wished, oh well.

Can anyone imagine building the Ridge from an idea, and actually lapping it later?

Agreed. It's a small time track that has a pretty good focus on the actual track. I like the surface and they keep it up pretty well. They aren't hosting multimillion dollar race events like say, NHRA Nationals, but I thing they're doing well enough. I like the Ridge much more than Pacific. I'm much more likely to go to events at the Ridge without running water than I am going to Pacific. The bathrooms are just a bonus to me.

Yes, they had a folly in the cart track but it is what it is. You don't really know what doesn't work until you try it. The management issues last year didn't help any either.

I have no doubt they will continue to improve and look for good things there in the future.

Just my $0.02.

Most wonderfull deuce

On Sunday I had the most epic deuce in the new Ridge bathrooms. However on Monday, I was relegated to the Honey buckets again. Sweet, sweet, bitter victory..................

Just had to share.............

I wasn't going to skip the opportunity..... They had painters in there on Monday. Maybe I overshot my target a little? For what it's worth, next year is going to be solid and we won't have to be buying food downwind of the shitters. Solid gold in my book. Next up camp grounds and power hookups? Yes please.

Eh, we've pooped in the woods for centuries, what's the big deal?
However, it was so refreshing to be able wash my face and hands....now this is civilization.
But we could do better than those damn blow dryers...Fred are you listening?
A restroom attendant with warm towels and a complimentary mint, is that too much to ask?

Oh, and fix the pavement patch in T14 since I'm filling out my dream sheet.

Other requests? Go

Requests?

Air conditioned garages with micro/fridge and a bed in a loft.
Carport-style pit rows for people without toy haulers.
Hot tub (with heavy duty filtration).
Control/spectator tower just inside the 9-10 stretch.
Wired comms like they have at PIR.
Mist fans in the corner stations.
Pedestrian bridge to the infield.
Fuel pump.
Mini-hazmat dump for oil/gascans/tires.
Dirt access road to the turn 4/5 runoff area.

Fix, maintain and properly pave run off areas around high risk corners... That'd be nice. Electricity
Shade

Can't wait to poop in a real toilet next year!

All poking fun aside I like that place...

Or at least to compensate for the winds that blow out there. Far too many canopies meet their death in that paddock.
