I had an epiphany last season. I had been riding the GSXR for a couple of seasons and on a whim I brought my Tuono to the track for the first time just to see what it was like on the track. Well that was it. It is just an absolute hoot to ride and much more comfortable for me. The GSXR hasn't been to the track since. Since I'm only going to ride the Tuono on the track and its also one of my street bikes, the GSXR has to go. Im not going to bother swapping tires for a trackday.

The 16' Tuono hasn't been to the track yet, but will be in about another 50 days! This is my first bike with the rider aids, the other Tuono was an 07'

Q3+'s are mounted, new pads, the others were toast, maybe 20% left. Brakes still feel a bit mushy and noticed an extra crush washer that didn't need to be there, where the other line crosses over to the left caliper. Maybe introduced an air bubble when removing extra washer, but bled them a bit afterwards.

Apparently the calipers were off an 03 1000, so the pads I bought were wrong initially.

I might have to do shake up blast on Red River Road. Hope the tribal police will give me a break.

When i checked It Out the front brakes were mush and was badly leaking from the banjo on the rh caliper so unless you did a bang up bleed there is probably some air in the system and that master was questionable.

Yeah, that's where the extra crush washer was.
I got the brakes to firm up after filling an almost empty master, tightening banjo's, and bleeding, but didn't notice the extra crush washer until replacing pads a week later.
