Motorcycle Ride Ride, Sat, May 16, 2020

Edit: Update; the radar map shows significant, increasing rain for the next couple of hours, at least. Ride cancelled. I'll ride in the rain to finish a run, but I don't like starting a fun run that way.

Just a pleasant ride to clear the cobwebs.

The Route

Meet, with a full tank, at the junction of Hwy 18 and Green Valley Hwy. KSU at 1015. Just a road junction here; no facilities.

The pace will be polite in the neighborhoods, spirited in the twistys.

Thinking out and back, but willing to consider options.

So tempted to make a run north; but with rain in the forecast for tomorrow, I'll just have to do a short Cougar to Carson this afternoon and wish you a safe ride tomorrow.

I would have seriously considered meeting up too, but on call tomorrow for work. Haven't been on the bike in a while........

Yesterday's forecast called for the moisture to hit later in the day. It's dry here now, but maybe not for long.

In any case, I'll ride to the rendezvous point and discuss options with whoever may show. Be there about 10.

Hey guys have fun and be safe. I sooooo wanted to go. Stomach pain hit at 8 PM last night. 10 PM I was sitting in the Good Sam ER writhing in pain. Gall stones. Gall bladder being removed in a day or two.

Getting old sucks.
