I once parked my Tuono on the street AND TOOK UP AN ENTIRE PARKING SPACE. Back wheel to the curb of course.

Some guy backing into the space in front of me STILL managed to hit my bike and knock it over. LSL Frame slider managed to save the bike from major damage and probable total.

Had a 14 for 7 years. You can grind the kick stand stop to put more angle in the kickstand and allows the bike to lean more to one side. And yes, I had mine fall over too. Frame slider saved everything.

Wife's 2012 ZX14 went over a couple times. I have a Honda that has the same complaint of a kickstand that does not offer enough support. If it is flat and level with good hard footing it is fine. I may yet weld a foot on it that will at least spread the load out a bit more.

Or an "atta boy" for thinking 180HP wasn't sufficient!

I did an exhaust and a tune on my ZX14. The Ackro's at $650 and $300 for the dyno got me a whopping 3-4 HP and a couple more TQ.

Friend recently had his 2013 ZX14 on the dyno, it went out with 176 at the wheel. CORRECTION, the 176 was my 06. His did 189 hp and 113TQ.

I never used it to the full potential because I knew it would kill me and I don't have the skills to flog it, but touring loaded up with stuff it pulled so well down low that I bet it entire life it lived between 3K and 6K rpms.

Sold it with 75K miles on it last year. Still have my C14/KLR/Z900RS

I doubt that extra 20 hp, but you never know. The ZX14 makes tons of TQ down low. Pass with ease.

I bought mine with 3300 miles on it in 07. The intent was to flip it as I got it for super cheap from car dealership in Astoria. I was currently on a ZZR600. But I loved the way it handled and the power was so nice that I did not have to wind it out to scoot. I sold the ZZR600 with 10K miles on it and never looked back.

We must be riding different bikes or have different understanding of what low end torque is. I feel like its gutless until 5-6k rpm. Maybe different gearing? BTW did you do flash tune with normal tune?

Gutless? I had Nels at 2wheel Dynoworks do my tune on the dyno.

BTW: the early mods were to remove the secondary butterflies, this really made the low end so much better. Which I did.

I'll take my bike to nels after I get my exhuast...see what the numbers say. When I ride if I'm not cruising I notice myself from mid to high rpms all the time.

Mid to high RPM's all the time tells me you are an accident waiting to happen. I hope not.

Enjoy the 14.
