All scrapin' knees on the way into the Starbucks parking lot, making the soccer moms doubletake as you manfully order your venti iced latte breve (one splenda).

It's the life.

I knew I forgot something. My mind was foggy, hadn't been to StarDucs yet.

although, based on how wide that waist looks, you may not qualify for "preferred" financing.

Having been lucky enough to have a few ducatis. You are always going to have the Starbucks crowd. But, I ride the $hit our of my Ducs, I've got two R's right now and nothing comes close to the ride and the experience. On the track they are simply amazingx riding down a mountain road, an amazing time, you can't go wrong...... plus the Starbucks lifetime membership hahaha

Lol I've gotten some good deals on one piece leathers over the years cause no one else was small enough to fit them. That'd be a tent for me.

Chya, as former owner, traded in my 03 ST4s for a '10 VFR 1200, I can attest to both sides of the coin. Not to go off on a rant here, buuuuutttt...the Duc was a fine handling machine with some choice bits. The chassis was/is fabulous, but the brakes were a bit underwhelming for me, it took waay too long to wind up the motor to its narrow power band, and it's nickel and diming me to death was the straw that broke the proverbial camels' back. It was always sumpin...wiring/electronic issues, poorly placed battery, cold blooded in the cooler months (bought a space heater and placed it right next to her in the garage so she would start in the mornings), poor fuel mileage, getting the plastic off to change the oil was a MAJOR P.I.T.A, and the 8K mile valve/belts etc service intervals were arriving waay to often. Again, if I had the opportunity to have multiple rides ( 3 + ), I would def have one in my stable. I can only afford/have space for 2 at the moment, so she had to go. Now my first world problem of having the Factory Tuono and the VFR will have to suffice.... :P

My old ass cbr is like that. It loves to go fast. Our brains are programmable computers and they will do what they are told. The hype machine wants you to think expensive Italian machines are better. They aren't.

I take it you have never had the experience looking at a 1098 streetfighter after a hard run through the twisties and thinking WTF is wrong with the guy who built this thing. Ok maybe it was just me.

Owning one does require sacrifice. I had to quit lighting my cigars with $100 bills and switch to $20s.

It is three $20s at once though...
