Thoughts on a bandit?

Iím looking at picking up an Ď08 Suzuki GSF1250S as a second bike so I can take my soon-to-be-wife on rides and also to keep up in groups with higher average speeds. My daily ride (drz400sm) isnít very comfortable to ride two up and doesnít like cruising above 70. Anyone have positive or negative experiences with the 1250?

In Suzuki's...any bike with an "F" (GSX650F, GSF1250S) the "F" stands for Fun!

The Bandit 1250's are a whole new ball game compared to my first 1200S a 2003.

I have had my 07 customizing it for a surprise for a friend thru his wife, for about 10 months. It handles better but is still no sport bike, but that big ol torquey Zook lump of a motor is happy in any gear...6 now. FI, water cooling, tons of aftermarket support. Pretty much bulletproof. Mine came with an extra Corbin touring seat but even the stock seems pretty nice for 2 up.

Lots of guys like them.

Seems like a win.

Might also consider a ZRX1200R. Same bike, only a Kwak.

Loved my 2001.

A lady in a Corolla murdered it.

Bultaco 360cc El Bandito. First motorcycle I ever rode (1969). Now there was a fun bike!

I swapped off and rode one for some miles - think it will totally fill the bill.
Post up a few photos when you get it.

Great bike, reliable and enough torque to move a mountain!

They are great bikes. I considered one when I bought my FZ1 - also a very under appreciated bike.

I got the bike! Very smooth ride. Great exhaust note. Instant throttle response in any gear at any speed. Fuel injection is amazing. Much more comfortable and much less wind buffeting than my supermoto (obviously). Fiancť approves

Corn Grits!! Nice color, very mature. Dale Walkers Holeshot performance and Metric Metal will be your go to sources for any mods and tweaks, or just leave it alone.
