Lightbulb Skykomish FS roads - Sat 7-18

I plan on riding some FS roads around Skykomish on my 'street legal' TE250i tomorrow between the hours of 8am and 1:30pm.....hope someone else is interested in exploring out there. The wife hates me riding alone but will do if I must.

I'll be at the gas station on Highway 2 next to Skykomish about 8:30AM at the latest. If someone see's this after I check out for the evening, PM me and we can communicate further. If you'd like to do some off road riding in this area*(aka Reiter pit or something else), I'm open to hitting that up too but I have to hit a particular FS road just past the Skykomish ranger station for a bit first.

Since nobody responded, I have delayed my start time about an hour - should hit Skykomish around 9:30am-10am.

Just saw this; bummer. Edit: In any case, if some of those FS roads are dirt or gravel, my old sport bike is not well suited for them.

Well - I went through about 70 miles of FS roads and nearly a tank of gas. A few side paths that were more interesting than the FS roads but great views and very little traffic made it all worth it. Made getting my endorsement and getting that TE250i certified street legal worth it as well. Plus it was a great testing ground as my bike crossed 20 hours. It has some mid-range bog that keeps appearing. The pro-tuner folks will have you believe the bike is too lean. The dealer wants me to believe I'm crazy or it's just the way these TPI bikes are. I know it's still not right...about to spring for Coober ECU or GET Athena to see if either of them can straighten out the mid-range bog issue which is more pronounced directly after altitude changes (yes I know to shut the bike off and turn it back on every 2K ft), and slow single track or down hill sections. It feels the same when it just warms up too.

They are lightly graveled. In a couple of places there was some larger gravel. A bunch of it was hard pack too.
