I know there have been a few threads about powder coating motorcycle wheels/parts. Gixxer Tek - Motorcycle Repair, Maintenance and Customization | Lakewood seems to be a recommended favorite. But anyone have a business they recommend for a set of 4 truck wheels to get powder coated? Also, any idea about what I should be paying for them (17" wheels)? Hoping to get these coated black: ![]() |

Didn't look at the link much but if they are doing bike wheels I don't see why they couldn't do auto wheels. If you're willing to catch a ferry, I recommend Kitsap Powder Coating. They do everything. I had a set of dirt bike wheel hubs done a long ago, I recently had a swing arm done, a friend had his bike wheels done, and another friend has his wheels there right now. I had been quoted $85/wheel to have a set of 18" truck wheels done. Kitsap Powder Coating | Powder coating in Kitsap | Sandblasting Western Washington It should be noted that they don't dismount/mount the tires or valve stems. They will charge you extra if that has to be done thru them. Edited by Pavement Tested on May 24th 2016 at 10:00 AM |

Paint them yourself! Any auto parts store has wheel paint. Now you can get plastic coating that you can peel off if you get tired of thr color.

I tweak the Kinesis rims on my franken-boxster almost every other month it seems. These guys always make them perfect. They refinished some 2008 STi oe wheels that were trashed and they came out like new. Complete Wheel Repair |

Thanks all - I sent inquiries to Forever Powder Coating, Complete Wheel Repair, and Seattle Wheel. I also threw in "Powder Vision Inc." since it is in Preston, WA and like 8 minutes from where I live. All of them look pretty reputable so I'll most likely end up going with the cheapest price!

What is wrong with GixxerTek? My experiences have been positive with them. Sent via HTC One M9 |
