NobleRush shutting down

I saw this in SoundRider this morning, but am having trouble finding a second source to verify it. Anyone who knows more, Id love to hear about it. Its always sad to see local players leave the market, especially with Duc Redmond being my local dealer for the M797 in my garage.

I just looked at their website and there is no information about not being open. they are on my way home so i will swing in. I just bought my first Honda (used) two weeks ago and thought they would be a convenient repair shop!

All dealerships are closed as of closing last night. Trucks were at dealerships this morning collecting motorcycles. All social media has been eliminated.

If you read the comments, it looks like banks shut them down and confiscated ALL inventory, possibly including customer bikes. A lot of employees arrived at work only to be locked out. Looks like a lot of legal messes to sort through.

I wonder where those bikes will end up. Hopefully this is only a temporary snafu and they can reopen at least some of the dealerships before next spring.

Before this, (Friday the 13th) I got an e-mail FROM BMW of Seattle (Noble Rush) says their new Fall hours included Tuesdays "by appointment only" starting Tuesday 9/17. WTF, looks like they were planning on only being open 4 days a week.

There's some unhappy campers who have their bikes in service there

Man that would suck! It would be almost worse if your bike was in for warranty work. I hope they get it sorted out soon. Or at least put something out there about it.

Does this speak to the motorcycle industry more globally or is this more of an example of poor management?

A buddy of mine was to take his bike in on Friday, only to find no one around to open the store. Luckily it didn't get confiscated like other customer rides. I'm sure it'll work out ok, just have to wait it out. I'd hate to have my bike held hostage. I understand they were letting some customers pick up bikes yesterday morning.

I wonder if they called people that had their bikes in there?

Doesn't sound like it. I'm guessing if some employees knew, they weren't allowed to say anything.

I'm thinking a combination of both...you've got to be a pretty good businessman to make a bike dealership work...looks like some clown had more money than business sense..and bought a bunch of dealerships he couldn't manage...

Anybody know the names of the Noble Rush owners?

Ride West (I still call it that): No way it wan't able to stay afloat, always busy, the service area ALWAYS full of bikes and customers.

Lynnwood Motoplex for BMW parts? Goddammit! I sure hope they've lost their cluelessness on how to give any degree of decent customer service.
