Flying Heritage Collection - Paine Field

Judging interest and taking suggestions for a ride up to Paine Field and the FHC Museum / Flying Tanks Day September 17th. Weather looks iffy right now. If it's too bad, they won't fly, and if they're not flying, I probably won't go. Next event on their site is October 8th and will include a Sherman Tank and some other hardware. That'll be the backup plan.

If the weather's decent, I'll head up from Renton around 8am at a pretty laid back pace (usually 5-10 over). I've ridden some of the roads up that direction before. Nothing too technical or fast, just pretty scenery. Probably run out past Snoqualmie Falls and Novelty, watch the flights and spend some time at the museum, then come back around Lake Sammamish and Cougar / Squawk Mountains.

The Flying Heritage Collection brings out the heavyweights on September 17th, 2016. See the Ilyushin IL-2M3 Shturmovik, the North American B-25 Bomber, and the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt flying through the sky!

Doors open at 10 am, planes fly at noon!
