Looks like the website hasn't updated for next weeks meet up but they already had one so I would assume it will happen again.

How many bikes usually show? I'd be interested in bringing my FZ-07 down there, though 5 @Ducati may be a bit early for me. It has bar-end mirrors so that makes it cafe, right?

Honestly I've never been to one. I've always wanted to go. I ride a 899 Panigale so I'm not really cafe either but I don't think it really matters. I want to see all the cool bikes!

There's usually hundreds of bikes of many different kinds. Typically the third Wednesday of the month.

I think I'm going to try and go. I'll post up afterwards how it is and maybe some pictures.

I went to my first backfire last month. Happened to be great weather and a ton of awesome bikes were out. It was a lot of fun – motorcycles basically have full reign over the 3-ish reserved streets and anyone not involved just looks horrified as they go past.

Easiest way to get updates from that wild pack of hipster dorks is FB.

It's a great event...I go anytime I am free and the weather isn't TOO bad. At the height of summer it's up to 500 bikes...very interesting styles, years, models...while it's geared toward the cafe/brat/bobber etc. bikes...all bikes are welcome.

It's always the third Wed of the month (from March-Oct...maybe Nov) rain/shine.

Their FB page is updated regularly: https://www.facebook.com/backfiremoto

You know this is in Seattle right? Where exactly will you park? Have you made a plan or even considered the plethora of enforced parking law policies of the various city/county/province/state agencies? What about scheduling? Have you oubtained the necessary clearance and associated passes/ID cards/hang tags/bar streamers required to arrive on a neo-quasi/faux cafe post modern non vintage semi-hip machine?

Good god man just get on the bike and ride over there. You may even enjoy yourself lol.

Don't have to be a cafe bike to go, I'd say less than a third are. Harleys next to sport bikes, no one cares.

It's a good time, about 3 blocks full of bikes around bars and breweries. Always funny to see a car go down that road and realize they shouldn't be there, lol.
