That is the point!! Keep trying the new ______, then next ________. As someone said earlier, you only live once.

I would like to say I love commuting on a Monster as it is the only bike I have consistently owned at least one version of over the last 10 years. I used to love fast 600ís & 1000ís riding like an idiot on the street, but that was 15 years ago and I have at least taken all that stupid stuff to the track now.

Your bike has electronic fuel injection and ignition, what is done during a tune up?

Nope, mine has dual carbs so they are cleaned and sync'd in addition to oil change, timing adjustment, etc.

My first set of pilot powers went 12k, and i don't consider myself a slow rider, consequent sets have succumbed to bolts and screws before reaching the wear bars.

Shout out to Andrew @ Andrews Garage for fixing all the things that needed fixing and helping to keep the bike on the road.
This Place >> Andrew's Mechanical Services LLC, (425) 770-8722

Thank you for the link. I don't think I ever would have found that had you not said something.

PS. I started changing and balancing my own tires. $$ Saving! Not hard! I recommend getting the three spoons to remove tires, they work way better.

Question: When you say Tune Up? Do you mean plugs and air filter, anything special? Did you follow the manual for service? 80K! Wow.
