Who's riding today?

Like - hello?

Pretty dead up in here.

Winter's over, you hibernating bears.

Come on.

My riding is usually done during the week. Weekends are usually pretty booked.

I rode from coast to Tigard and back Friday, about 170 miles round trip. Left at 7 AM so no traffic to speak of on 26 through the coast range. Beautiful day for riding (with a heated vest at times). Rode total of 60 miles today (Saturday) up 101 to Astoria and back for a meeting. A few very light and short rain showers but mostly nice.

And after this riding I just have one question for motorists - do you know what "KEEP RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS" means?
JayFree likes this.

I know for a fact they have absolutely no idea what a "slow moving vehicle turnout" is for or why they are there...or maybe they're for someone else..right?

So consider this an open invitation to you and anyone else that reads this.
I've also have been going out right after work most days.

I get home around 3 (get to work at 6), and roll before 3:30.

I've been riding the back way from PO to GH for espresso, and to watch the rich white folks walk their dogs, and cruise their porsches, teslas, and rovers in front of skansie park.

there's a place where you can sit right near the street, in the sun, and there's always rockstar motorcycle parking right in front.

invitation for a ride and chat and coffee. open.

i drove to canada a few years back, up the island, and i can tell you those folks care about that rule. i mean, they get their passing done and then HUSTLE back into the right lane. no shit.

you can BOMB the left lane because it's empty.

i have no clue about speed enforcement though, but i suspect they're fuckers about it.

here's an interesting aside note about the world: as I re-read my post i noticed i felt just a twinge in my belly about that ONE WORD in it, and i actually thought about editing it out. How fudkec up is THAT? The Man has won, and we never fired a shot.

Rode to the vintage swap meet in Lynden, good turn out.
Nice Vincent's etc + a Canadian RC-30.
Big dark cloud hovering before leaving and hail.
Rained briefly on the way back, cleared heading south.

going for a ride this morning during church. #besttimeoftheday

bike's all shiny, and last night I cleaned off my front rotors with a scotch-brite. hoping to get rid of that pulsing at slow speeds. interested (hopeful) to see if it worked.

I rode! Just a short Ripplebrook run. Surprisingly light traffic given the weather. Had a blast!

Sorry too busy riding to reply...

East Mercer way to warm up tyres, shoot up to lake Sammamish way to Redmond, then to Carnation, Fall City, North Bend (get milkshake), I-90 and HWY 18 to Hobart, and into Issaquah, then 1-90, and I-5 to Alki and chill out watching pretty cars cruise by and air out leathers, and a good cuppa for the ride home.
