St. Joe River Road - Northern Idaho

If you haven't ridden the St. Joe River Road out of St. Maries, Idaho, you need to do it. This helmet camera video shows a very little bit of it and the video does not do it justice. It is a beautiful ride and there is no traffic. Better than Lolo Pass road. Try it, I think you will like it.

It's a good fun road, but the farther east you get, the worse the road becomes. Then it's finally pure dirt once you get into Montana.

Got stuffed and cuffed and charged with Reckless for a pass like that, at 5 UNDER the limit by an off duty ISP trooper. Yeah, St. MAries is still holding bad memories, but I hear there are fun roads and I have family in law that just moved there from Cali.
