Oregon NF-2840 TO Laurance Lake

I'm considering going moto-camping this weekend in the Mt. Hood Forest at Laurance Lake on my Street Twin. Does anyone know what the road surface conditions are like accessing the lake via Forest Road 2840? I can't definitively tell from Google Maps and when I called the Forest Service, the guy said, "its paved and it's also gravel"...and that's it. I really need to buy a Butler map!

There was a washout a few years back, so a flat 1/8 mile section has bumpy gravel. No concern for any street rider, the rest is paved single lane all the way to Laurance lake, and it's a GREAT place to camp!
