Dunlop Q3 Tires
So here's the short version and pics for those of you with ADD.
Excellent tires! One of the best for a combo of both street and track riding. These tires have 8 track days and about 1000 street miles on them.
Rear tire. You can see the left side is worn down to the wear bars.
So I put these tires on my 2004 ZX10r last April. I put about 100 street miles on them before the first track day. I wanted a tire that was going to be good for both street and track because this is my street bike not a dedicated track bike. I needed tires that would warm up fast and have "some" grip when cold and would work ok in the rain. I've had some bad experiences with DOT race tires on the street because they don't warm up enough on the street.
So these tires now have 8 track days and about 1000 street miles on them. In the afternoon track sessions I ride 2 sometimes all 3 sessions per hour. So for someone that rides the normal 1 session per hour this probably equals to about 11-12 track days! I have 6 days at the Ridge and 2 days at Pacific on them. Yesterday at the Ridge I was able to cruise at 1:55s with no problems. Earlier this year at Pacific I was able to cruise at 1:32s with no problems. I'm sure I could get under 1:50s at the Ridge and under 1:30s at Pacific if I pushed them. I think that's pretty good for a street tire! The rear tire is pretty much worn out on the left side now but the front still great! This is all on my 04 ZX10r street bike, no modern electronics, traction control or anything. Motor bone stock, Muzzy slip on, K&N air filter, no PC. 27,000 miles with stock suspension that has never been rebuilt, revalved or even serviced.
I'm very impressed with these tires! I highly recommend them for someone that wants a tire for riding both street and track. I'm going to keep them on over the winter for street riding, still lots of tread left in the center, and put new ones on next season.

Thanks for the review and pics. I too run my main bike ('05 ZX-10) mostly street but will be doing a 2 day track event at ORP in a couple of weeks. I am on my second RR Q3, (Q2 before that), and my first Q3 front has about 6K on it and almost looks good enough to run out on the track. I decided to put a new front on this week, but I am glad they are getting such good reviews for a bit of track abuse.
