Anyone recently ride to Detroit Lake via 224? Just wondering if 224 is open all the way from Estacada to Detroit. Hoping to run it in an hour...

According to the forest service table, 224 is open (old date though), but 46 is still closed.

It normally doesn't open til June or so. And this winter - even more so.

I rode there yesterday and the snow line is 24 miles past the ranger station. The ride is still worth the trip, low traffic and beautiful scenery.

Anyone know about 242 (Old McKenzie Hwy) and 372 (Cascade Lakes Hwy)?
