Talking Polar Bear Run - Jan 1, 2020

2020 is going to be a great new year! Who can come out and ride around to get it started off right?

This is a big annual ride when the more decorations on you and your bike makes it all the more fun There is a hosted event with fundraiser and planned routes by the Trinity Road Riders, open to all types of bikes, riders and passengers.

Here's a link for more info: 36th annual POLAR BEAR RUN bring a little cash if you'd like to register, donate, enter raffles or get pizza etc at the ending spot.

Let's plan to meet up in the SouthEast corner of the CycleGear parking lot, or park on SE 90th Ave (near SE Washington St) if the lot is already full. Say 10am?

I rode the Papa Bear (third year) and actually led two guys in their first year.
Was on a Wee-Strom, they had KTM1190, 790 Adventures...

Had a shower at 10:20, then sun, then three more small showers. Great temperature at upper 40's to 50f. The route was in my riding grounds so I just peeked at the route twice to make certain I was on track. The last part on Clackamas River Drive up Forsyth to Bradley to Redland is a pretty good stretch...dry.

I didn't get the two guys contact info...Edward and Bill, if you read this, IM me. Would love to ride again. Or, I'll see you next year.

I am late to the game (thread) - the pics are gone, bummer. Compared to last year, this was a tropical ride! Including moisture and rainbows ...
