I went to this last year. I can't say I would recommend it ... but to each their own.

^^ really small turn out, not a lot of bikes, more cruiser bikes than sportbikes of which I only saw one...

Well, perhaps a good way to remedy that problem would be to attend and bring your sport bike.

In truth, I'm guilty of avoiding large gatherings of any kind. I'm working to change that, at least for the local stuff involving people that share my interests.

What ashfoot said. Really - the event seems to be more along the lines of Cinco de Mayo at the Waterfront rather than having anything to do with motorcycles - they were hard to find among the other stuff ...

So here's an idea:

Cars & Coffee is every Saturday morning, usually from about 0800-1030, at the World of Speed Museum in Wilsonville. Lots of interesting cars to look at, kind of a cruise-in for sports cars. The museum is pretty cool too, plus it has motorcycles along with other displays. Cars & Coffee is free. The museum costs money to enter. A month or so ago the local Triumph club rode down there and parked their bikes for all to see. Nice addition to the event. Maybe one of you could organize an early get together and show the chargers what they're missing.

Great idea, although a bit out there for me. But you are the author, not someone else

I ride my keyboard a lot more than my bike these days. I may get down there sometime this summer but probably solo instead of in a group. I will do TNC also.
