| Jan 2018 Olympia ZX12R, KLR 650 (R.I.P. ZX10) | Newbie
Evening, I have not been on a forum in years, used to be on PNWRiders. I am not new to riding, been doin it for a while but this past August another Kawasaki dream of mine was realized... I bought my 2nd brand new Kawi.. a 2017 KLR650. Feel like a lil kid again, and its a new learning curve for me but all I wanna do is go find back roads and camp on this machine! Its frickin awesome. My hope in coming here is to find other folks with enduro's I guess dual sports nowadays, who I could learn some from and have fun at the same time. Maybe there are some ol pnw folks on this board who might remeber a dude like me  ....Regaurdless, Be Safe, Have Fun. Brian |

Hi Brian  Yea, wow, it took Justin to find your post, as I don't visit this place, but like maybe once a year. it's not that same as it was. IMHO FB has taken over, but yea man good to hear, and yea those dual sports are a hoot. it's the style of bike that got me hooked. Way back when. looked at an Africa twin, but man are those big and not really a dual sport, even though they sort claim it to be, still weighs 550lbs. Needs to be 500/ 250ish. Stop by some time, it would be great to get caught up.

Is this the Brian that likes to take waterfall pictures? You used to ride a lot with Gary. Sure it was you who spotted Gary and I when we were headed on a trip to CA and then you flipped it an went home. I too have a KLR |

Snagged a KLR650 last summer. Have yet to take it out in the mountains. Would love to get other adv riders together for a meetup/ride/etc. I plan to attempt the WA BDR this summer!
