I can't argue with her posing so nicely.

My wife sent me to the store to buy some things and added "If you see something at the store that you want, go ahead and buy it.". There was a nice red SV650 with a for sale sign sitting out front. It almost followed me home...

I'll be in the North Seattle area but I am not opposed to a ferry ride with the bike every now and then

I graduated from SDSU a few years back so I have roots all over the state (though I certainly prefer the north)

Thanks for the heads up, I have heard they are pretty strict up there when it comes to speeding and giving out performance awards. It will be hard but I'll be slowing my pace (cage and moto) down quite a bit as soon as I am up there.

I do have on question about traffic enforcement, however. Does WA have any sort of leniency towards first tickets (i.e. in CA, you can attend traffic school once every 18 months to keep a ticket from going on your license and effecting your insurance premiums)? Or is it one and done with regards to accruing points on your license?

Yes, WA has a leniency for every ticket you get...............You lawyer up, and your record stays squeaky clean That's how we do it in the PNW. There are a list of lawyers in the area that work real good.

Washington also has a ticket deferral program, but you can only use it once every 7 years... Pay some minor fee (it was $75 when I made use of it in 2007 or 2008) and don't get another ticket for a year, then the ticket is thrown out and never goes on your record. Get a ticket within that year, however, and you're screwed for both of 'em. Worked out well for me
