Need a good BMW motorcycle mechanic in Bellevue

Hi, I have a 1972 BMW R 75/5 that I love and is in survivor condition. It's not starting for some reason and I can't get the kick starter to turn either and I don't know why. I road it on Tuesday and all was fine. Now it won't start. Hoping to find a good mechanic in Bellevue WA if anyone can advise? Thanks so much.

I know you specifically asked for an Eastside mechanic, but I'd give Jorge at BMW Motorrad Seattle a call - he may be able to hook you up. Unfortunately, his mobile mechanic business is put on indefinite hiatus - would have been a great option for you. He's somewhat of a wizard when it comes to vintage Bimmers.

Cheers!

Another independent and experienced place to consider is Vallantine Motor Works on Aurora in Seattle, especially in older vintage BMWs like yours.

Not a convenient place from Bellevue in particular, but maybe a reasonable alternative considering the vintage.

Definitely recommend (they look after my RR) VMW. Here again, not the most conveniently located for eastsiders. Lowside used to be an option to get our bikes there but Tim closed the book on that great endeavour.
