  2004 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic (California edition)
Howdie from Lynden

I thought I posted in this thread when I joined but I guess I messed it up.

I've been riding since 2004 off and on. Still riding my first motorcycle (V-Star 1100 classic) and enjoying it a lot. My wife likes to ride on the back of the bike but she is 6-foot tall and even with footrest extenders her legs cramp after a while so we tend to take shorter rides.

We have also considered a bigger bike... but, I am looking to retire this summer so we will see what happens.

Looking forward to some decent riding weather and making a few meetups to say hi!

Welcome. The Bellingham group is pretty active after we have all emerged from hibernation. Hopefully I will see you at some of the bike nights this season.

+1 for the Bellingham peeps!! We had a bike ride last weekend. I'd guess we're all a bit lethargic after winter got us off the (street) bikes!

Watch for things to pick up around here...

Get that Amazon woman of yours her own bike, get you another and you will both love it and be comfy.

Haha, she actually got her permit back in the day but I think the 1100 was too big for her and while she was practicing she ran into a garbage can. "That could have been a child" and she has had no interest in riding her own since.

For pics, I have been experimenting with a GoPro Hero 5 and I posted a couple. OK Camera but there is a lot of fisheye with it. The link points to a Flickr share with 4 files from my GoPro in it:
2 - 12mp jpeg photos of the bike
20 second, HD (1920x1080) video walking around my bike
20 second, 4k (3840x2160) video walking around my bike
(you may want to download the videos to see the full effect)
