Welcome! Track days can be a good tool for learning. Get lots of seat time before your first track day though. Being allowed to cut loose and go as fast as you want doesn't work well for everybody. I saw some guys with less than a year under their belt in the grass learning what they didn't know about braking on their first track day for example. And that was the first skill level. I've seen the same in moderate level but I had no idea what the experience level was of those riders. I did learn that just because a rider passes you on the track it does not mean they are a better rider as I have seen people pass me only to crash on the next corner right in front of me. Have fun but stay safe. |
