I'm glad you're having a good time. What have you done, and what do you plan to do? Paia? Mama's? The blow hole? The Maui Brewing Company brewpubs? Which beaches?

Get yourself some breakfast or lunch from Da Kitchen or Kihei Cafe (big portions warning). Their breakfasts are fantastic. Pretty much amazing malasadas at every bakery, they all have a little different take on them. Times Supermarket and Foodland, yes the grocery stores, actually make better poke than most of the restaurants. South Maui Fish Company does good tacos and poke. 808 Deli makes some great sandwiches. Small island made stuff from the small grocery stores are always delightful, haupia, poi, lilikoi, li hing mui, these things are all amazing. Saimin is basically Hawaiian ramen, which isn't as good as regular ramen so, not missing much unless you have a weird love for it.

Side note warning, don't buy anything from locals at roadside stands, it's basically all stuff you can buy at the walmart in kahului, or it is stuff they bought at walmart, made a little carving on it, then pawn off on tourists for far more.

We stay at the Sheraton at Black Rock, we love that side of the Island! mama's and Maui Brewery are a must, did that, slaughter house beach, blow hole, atv riding in Kanapale, Miso Phat, Sea House and much more, hitting up the south side today and doing a dinner cruise. We're lucky enough to have made a great local friend who we hang with while here, he stays with us when he visits Seattle, we cruise with him while here

Jared, thanks for the reminder about Dakitchen forgot about that, and yes those stands on the side are bogus! Anyone who thinks local supermarket food is gross is crazy, you're right best Ahi right behind Maui Brewery in my opinion!

Yes. There are basically two different kinds of malasadas- Siamese, and Pekinese...just kidding.

Da Kitchen has a Loco Moco that I always wanted to try, but never did. It looks like it would take a year off your life. It is the Notorious B.I.G. Moco, made with Hamburger, chili, 2 eggs, mushrooms, onions, spam, cheese, bacon, Portuguese sausage, and fried rice.

Nothing quite like gas station musubi...

I do love haupia, lilikoi, and li hing anything.

If you like Saimin, try Star Noodle on the west side.

I'm already missing Katsu, Spam, chili on rice, Kalua pig, teriyaki, and everything else, but I'm probably going to be healthier not eating all that stuff.

I'm glad you're having a good time.

I prefer the south side. My four favorite beaches are all in a row there- Kam I, Kam II, Kam II, and Keawakapu.

Fred's Mexican Cafe is a nice place to sit and watch the sun set over Kam II while drinking a fish bowl sized margarita and having some Mexican food.

And I don't care for Maalaea, but I will drive there for Beach Bums Barbecue- it's a favorite cop hang out.
