Z900rs

Looked at it, sat on it and asked for a black paint version to be shipped. The bike is amazing in person. Fit finish is superb. They would not let me test ride this one because its sold, but I could at least sit on it.

They are a Costco buyer program member, my C14 I purchased for 3K under MSRP. No freight, no dealer setup. I am sure this will be OTD for a great price.

I have pinged Ventura Racks to ask if they will make a rack for this one? Maybe in the future.

Oh man! I bought a Z1 Kawakaki brand new in 1974. How I did not kill myself on that machine Lord only knows. I wanted to race everyone and everybody with that thing. That was my one and only mode of transportation for a while. Traded it off (still kicking myself) for a nice Buick as my then girlfriend got tired of having to use her car every time we went out on a date.

Good time, good memories. I just might have to put me an eyeball on a Z900RS. Might just bring a tear to my eye.

Me too, my friend had the new Z1 and let me ride it all the time. I recall filling it up with gas at 185th and Sunset Highway and leaving the station and goosed the throttle, I lost traction and nearly low/high sided it. Scared me big time.

I rode it for a good time and dropped it off at Scott's and jumped on my 350cc triple.

Paulsons in Lacy is part of the Costco vehicle buying program. CC has a set price on all sorts of vehicles, ATV's, travel trailers, cars, trucks and motorcycles.

You pick your vehicle and buy at the CC price at participating dealers.

2013 Kawasaki C14 was 16,999, CC price was 12,999, no set up fees, no dealer prep costs.

Not all dealers are part of the CC buying program, you will have to ask.

Hindshaws in Renton is not. Don't think its call HS's anymore either.

Paulsons is THE PLACE to get a good deal on a new bike. I haven't bought one there, but their advertised prices are always the best around. Big store, too.

Had a KZ900 in 1976. Loved that bike! The RS is a serious consideration down the road.....,

Its all one piece, so it will be expensive. Akropovic made one for the show bike.

It sounds very nice ATM so no changes are due.

This bike reminds me of my 2001 ZRX1200R that a woman in a Civic killed. It was a retro bike as well and would stand nicely next to the 900, IMO. Man I loved that bike.

Yes, this is definitely a looker and I think my local dealer has a couple in crates. I will push them to get out on the floor...I too miss my 2003 ZRX-1200, great machine, and Carbs!!
Looking forward to your real world ride reports and any possible mods/tweaks/personalizations you may have in store.

The usual, grip heaters, radar, battery tender plug. Stonegard for the tank and headlight. radiator guard and frame sliders are all on the list. Some are out of stock ATM.
