XR1200 I can ride?

Anyone with an XR1200 they'd be willing to let me ride a bit? Wanting to try one out before I go through the work of finding one for sale since nothing is currently popping up.

Thanks.

Finding the FZ1 too smooth, fast and reliable?

lol I'm not looking to replace the FZ1, just thinking of adding a second bike, a different experience for a different mood.

Sometimes I want to use a scalpel, sometimes I want to use a hammer.

And I'm a sucker for the uncommon.

Sorry don't have one, but have always though they were pretty interesting... Ever watch the Spanish (I think) BBQ XR1200 race series? Very fun spec bike class. Awesome part is that the grid of XR's sounds like a wave of WW2 bombers coming at ya...

its a fun motor. i rode a NIghtster for a while, and I was always smiling. If it wasn't so cramped i'd have another. i don't think you are gonna be impressed by the raciness of any MoCo product though. Any SV650 or N650 is gonna be better for that. Still, it would be uber fun to roll that 1200X.
