Not sure, but it looks like a lot more fun than a Spyder!

It's like something you ride on your way to be killed in an Alien sequel. Looks better in motion: https://jalopnik.com/the-freakish-3-...bel-1819828749

Edit: the single-sided front forks look kind of cool on their own. But not as cool as this was: https://www.google.com/search?q=Yama...E+350&tbm=isch

He's missing a jersey... or neon... I'm not sure whether they were going for "half-naked hockey player" or "Tron."

How to make a bike that handles like a bike but still won't wash out front end on gravel or oil slicks. I guess.

Perceived safety.

The Piaggio MP3s are tremendously popular in places like Paris, with slick cobblestone.

Yamaha needs to work on aesthetics, though.

here's a video of the bike in action, skip to the 1 minute mark unless you want to see a guy on skis..

after watching this I wondered just how much could you lean this into a corner, then I realized, care don't not buying it.

interesting. I owned a Piaggio MP3 500 for, oh, about 8 month and sold it. It cornered weird and had some inherent mechanical issues. I doubt a Yamaha would have those issues. Interesting bike. I would go ride one 'just to see'.

i have about a dozen questions about the handling dynamics of something like that.

Seems like the rear end would wash out before the front, and would be the limiting factor in a turn. I bet it gets interesting when that rear tire swings around and you're doing a full-lock turn-in with the handlebars turned all the way right while the bike turns left like a rear wheel drive car.

You could ride it around a turn with the rear wheel spinning - drift it in.
