Didn't the gsxr come with a gear indicator for a little bit?

So I just installed the new bearings but look at what 4 years of rain riding can do to them. Mind you the other one wasn't nearly as bad but still!

I put my ass on the bike and rode it to work, hangover, frost, and all. The whole way, my throttle felt really stiff - it was fine at low throttle levels but the more I turned it, the more it resisted.

Turns out my heated grip adhesive had let go or something and the whole apparatus had rotated at least a quarter turn, shortening the wires significantly. I was able to rotate it back when I got to work and the ride home was much better, but I'm a bit worried they'll break free again sometime later. What's odd is I rode it on Saturday and the throttle was fine, so I'm assuming it rotated either when I parked it Saturday or fired it up today... not sure how I managed that!

Damn. I would say it's a reuniting of the axis, except that the speedo is made in the UK.
