I use to have an alarm connected to the battery but after a couple years of it being connected, it started draining the battery. I went to ride home after work one day and the bike wouldn't turn over. Decided against those kinds of alarms and to do a stand alone one. The bike battery was new by the way.
I use the xena disc lock with alarm , I can't even put the key in without setting it off, I'll hear it before I can drive off with it.

I actually got the tires ordered for it today. New Pirelli Night Dragons. The guy that owns the shop next door doesn't understand why I won't just by the Harley ones, "they last longer" he says. I don't put enough miles on it to care about longevity, I want the darn things to stick.

if im not going to ride for more the a few days my bike gets plugged into a tender jr. combine that with the versys's high output stater and i havnt had any trouble yet (the bobber on the other hand's battery is toast after 6ish months of sitting neglected, tho the alarm didnt help its case its not to blame, that battery was mostly toast to start with, but bobber has a kick start and its alarm is going to be put on my husbands next bike.(hopefully a honda shadow)

So not necessarily today, but in December when it was cold and dry, before the monsoons, I bought these from Amazon for my Boulevard C90T.. SuperBike Motorcycle Handle Bar Mitts Muffs Gloves Hand Warmer, that was when it was cold and not wet, like it is now. The plan is to use summer gloves, so I could actually feel the controls on my bike...sounds good to me! Yes they are wannabe Hippo Hands but what do you want for $20?

4.5 Stars in Amazon Reviews

What did you do with your motorcycle today?

I installed fork bleeders on my YZ250FX. Took all of 3 minutes 27 seconds.

What I did:

I pulled off the FJR's rear shock and took it to JMC Motorsports for a rebuild.

Bought a new speedometer cable.

Apparently the faulty one that said "made in Japan" on the side of it wasn't original to my BMW...

Please let us know what you think once you get them on. I debated them for a while, but decided on the Michelin Commander. I still don't quite have the wet grip I'd hoped for, since I can break the rear loose seemingly on a whim in first through fourth gear.

As for my bike, I swam to work on it this morning.
