Vernonia to Astoria and Back September 6

I am making a habit of getting out now that my R1 is running well.

Went out Skyline to Rocky Point Road (which is insane) and then 30 to Scappoose Vernonia Hwy and the usual way to Astoria via Mist and Jewell.

Beautiful day, beautiful roads, although there was moisture on the road under the frequent treed areas. Hit up a food cart in Astoria and enjoyed seeing all of the activity on the streets, then back home.

Another awesome day. I’m thinking maybe advertising these weekend excursions. Call it a “group ride” or something.

I was going to do that ride on Tuesday...20 mph winds with 60mph gusts said I should try Thursday...
when I ride..though I may not like it..I try to stay on the right side of the road..but not necessarily the right side of the lane...when in the twisties I will lean to the right or the left and blindly follow whoever is "the leader"...
