Upgrade

I sold my coworker my FJ-09 and bought a left over 2016 Super Duke R from Dave Russell's this week. I loved that FJ but the torque and useable street power on this thing is pretty incredible.

I was going to part with 20k and get the new GT but when I found this left over 16 for $12999 I couldnt pass up the price. To be clear this is way more bike than I will ever need.

The SDR feels so much smaller/lighter than the FJ, I only have a few miles on the new ride and I am taking it easy but I like I am going to really like this thing.

Fender kit was ordered last night.

A bit of a interesting upgrade. The FJ has the same engine as my FZ and I have zero problems moving on the streets. That said, I freaking love the Duke and it would have been my purchase over the FZ if I didn't want to keep my price-to-performance ratio low.

I chased a Duke up St. Helens last year. It was one of the best rides I have been on. Enjoy that beast!

Man what a drag, 47 miles on the bike and it is back at the dealers, rear shock was pissing oil

I dont fault the dealer at but this still blows. So now I have to wait to see how WP/KTM want to handle this.

And, my co worker who bought my FJ caught a nail in the rear tire, but to be fair he knew that rear tire was toast so he got a new one locally, $140 bucks and he is back on 2 wheels.
