Had to be buell. Victory and Harley don't really do fast. There's a couple electric motrcycle companies. Don't think your go that route. Then there is the mission r and lightning super bike.... For like what 40 grand. I'm going buell maybe an 1190rs?

I'd rock that bike and you know it Kris, lol.

And I'll clarify, by fast I meant the 0-60 feeling of fun, not the "hey I'm doing 220mph!" feeling of terror ("Oh how he'd die?" "Well he was maxing out his H2R and a bird pooped and it exploded through his helmet like a bullet when he hit it"). Quick by measurement of the seat of my pants would have been a better expression around here, lol.

I am probably going to trade in my 2015 Yamaha R3 instead of selling it if I can work the right deal on the bike I am looking at. The R3's are not high end bikes anyway so I doubt the difference is worth the trouble of dealing with people, showing it, wasting time...

Fast = high speed
Quick = holy shit I got to a high speed in the blink of an eye.
Personally I like quick and fast

Id Have to agree. Selling a 250 or 300 sport bike is going to be difficult. There are just so many of them out there. Maybe Not the r3. But a ninja 250 or 300 there's limitless amounts of them on Craigslist.
Cut your losses Go for the trade in.

New bike followed me home yesterday, I'll get some good pictures today.

I would have made more money selling the bike privately than a trade (of course), but in the end it just wasn't worth the hassle of trying to do so, especially in December.

CL is a gamble, for sure. But I have bought probably 8 bikes on CL, and sold as many. Never been screwed and never screwed anyone. A couple oddballs, but you gotta trust the Force with that. If it feels the least bit off, just pass. I got both my current bikes off CL, a 1997 CBR900RR and a 2011 Ninja 650R. I love love love them. I think in the spring I will sell the Ninja 650R and buy a FZ07 because wheelies, and I will do it on CL. I have bought new bikes in the past, a couple expensive-ass Harleys. Do not like payments for sure. And for some reason, same with cars, dealers always make me feel robbed. Fucking "destination fee?!" WTF? And fuck state sales tax. Just saying. Interested to see your new whip.

No, there is no warranty. Hopefully you have not misrepresented the bike. Maybe they just have a question. If something failed within 48 hrs of sale and I was completely unaware of it, I would want to know about it. There are a few trust issues here, and nobody needs to make new enemies.
Its not a bad attitude at all. Being a mechanical and quality engineer, it is very easy to pick up on most major mechanical issues. I've never had a bike or car have a major mechanical failure without many warning signs first.

Since I have integrity and would never sell a vehicle without disclosing any known major defects, if it blew a motor or tranny or something, I would have to assume they were abusing the vehicle or doing something else stupid.

My girlfriends parents live near the new Lynnwood high school and their house is easily worth 7 figures, plenty of money around there...LOL

If you want a shithole, go spend some time in Spokane, haha.
