Tire replacement - where?

Folks,
Looking for a shop to replace my Honda VT1100 tires. I am going to buy the tires. Any of you recommend a place in the Seattle area that will do it fast and reasonably priced? I called one in Issaquah, WA and they said I have to wait for a month! Also, any idea of the costs for replacing both the tires?

TIA

Santiago Valdez 425-773-9317 or HighsideATgmailDOTcom. He's in Mill Creek and last I checked charges $30 per wheel off the bike.

www.ridersdomain.com for tires. No tax (last time I checked), no shipping, good prices. It's where I buy tires and I've been doing tire mount and balance for the last 5 years.

Dealerships are expensive for tire work. If they can get you in its around $120-150 just for the mount and balance after all is said and done. That's wheels off the bike too. This is based off experience with the shops here in Kitsap Co.

Just a few tires I've done.

Try Cycle Gear. Their flyer shows they're selling Pirelli Angel tires for ~$200 per set....$25 install with purchase. Limited sizes, though.

I think it depends on which Cycle Gear store you go to in regards to installs. For instance, I'm pretty sure the one in Lynnwood doesn't install tires.

I've used Santiago with great results, even on spoked tubed tires.

Buy tires online and have them delivered to PT's place. Then ride down there with a pizza and pay him to do it for you. Personal experience.

Cycle gear just scratched my buddy's wheel. If you're going to have them do it, be warned.
I prefer to watch or just do them myself.

I've used Andrew's Mechanical Services in Kirkland several times. He's very reasonable, and he's careful.

Andrew just sold his house. In the interim he's going to be working out of Optimum Performance Motorsports in Kirkland.
Same great service, same great prices.
