Talk me out of a 690 Duke

Got a chance to pick up a 2014 690 Duke for a decent price.

Do not need.

But it looks fun.

Any particular reason to avoid one of these?

  Depends on my mood.
Nope! Not going to talk you out of it!

I would be a hypocrite.

There is a big problem with keeping the front wheel on the ground especially when exiting turns. The bike also seems to make you do bad things. My friend had one and I shouldn't be allowed to ride it on the street as it just begs to be thrashed.
I say go for it.
The only thing I'd consider is adding a steering dampener because the steering can be a little sensitive but not a necessity and you can get used to it.

Don't buy it. They should be banned due to their high level of addiction.

You could also forget what I said, buy it and then give me your neglected cony...

I do not have a Duke, But I have it's German, Italian, Chinese, Swedish red headed step cousin, along with 4 others of various lineage in my garage at home and 18 at work!

Restraint is not one of my strong points.
