There's one in Petrolia CA and it has a dial tone. Part of the Lost Coast Highway ride....

Not trying to hijack the thread with this double post and topic-unrelated responses.

That bike is cool as all hell, reminds me of one I saw recently at the gas station near my house. Not many new school riders appreciate those old boxy type bikes (for lack of a better description). Drove 80s cars for years and have a love for the 80s - 90s model petrol machines. Bet it rides like a raped ape when it's behaving as it should.

Would love to pick your brain about PBX systems. Did you have the opportunity to play with SAP at all before retiring? I'm a software engineer with some extensive networking experience, love learning more about the older tech that was around for 100 years before the internet was even conceived.

I was an outside plant network technician. All of our work was outside to the demarc. We didn't install or repair customer owned eguipment. I worked in Ridgefield where everything was POTS and not even DSL till after I retired in 05.I bought the Suzuki new in August 83 from the dealer on 82nd in Portland. Had some mods done at that time by Yoshimura. Still got it.Changed the exhaust and carbs/airbox back to the originals and am planning a trip to Arizona to visit relatives in a week or so.
