Only one comment regarding the 2nd. That's not "rants". Heck, one single comment doesn't even constitute a "rant" about the 2nd.

People post loads of derrogotory comments about Harleys and rarely get called out, but one mention of the 2nd Amendment and it becomes a political "rant". Seems rather hypocritical.

And that would be Senator Steve Hobbs, 44th district. Maybe some might want to encourage him, in a respectable/respectful way, how lane splitting is beneficial to our community of heavy traffic and can reduce the demand for downtown parking and so forth.

Also, Judy Clibborn term isn't up until January 2019, from District 41b. She's been in that position for 15 yrs, and I would say it's time for those in that district to vote her out......... next election!

Encourage your friends or family, who know some representative/legislator in a city, county or district, to contact them about the benefits of lane splitting.
If it's dead this year, there's always next year, and getting a head start would help. And then.................there's always the year after that and then...........year after that............and so on, and so on. Just need to be persevering, persistent, and induring.........

Do you have about a million bucks laying around to get that started, along with the time and energy to make the sale to the majority of voting Washingtonians?

Try to counter the emotional "why would I vote to let these people kill themselves?" argument, especially with the non riding public which already assumes we are nut jobs with a well developed death wish just for saddling up in the first place.

Word up on that one. Sometimes the process moves about as fast as a unionized glacier. Remember, it took over a decade to pass the red light bill.

I have an idea to speed up the process. If there's a ton of money to be made by the state, it should pass pretty quickly. Make lane splitting a Good to Go charge some how. Like put sensors in the recessed reflectors that divide the lanes, and if you trip like 3 or 4 in a row (because you're riding between two lanes) then you get dinged a charge. I don't know, but if money was involved..............?

Don't give them any ideas. Remember the 405 HOT lane debacle?

BTW: I had a meeting with the Director of Tolling last week, and when I get my notes distilled I will put up a complete report on that.

Only the highlights. The main text will still be in my normal presentation ink, made from the crushed souls of the fools who have crossed me.
