We've got a few, but definitely could use a bunch more.

Just a formality.
Everything gets reintroduced.
Unless they are part of the budget game or a big drama issue it's no real change.

We still need to work over the interim with our house members to gain support. I will be working with Senator Sheldon to get the bill back out of the Senate when the 2018 regular session gets started, and we will continue the effort.

This is going to be a long term process.

Am I wrong, or does this mean the bill is dead (for 2018)?

Washington State Legislature
While no bill is technically "dead" until the end of the biennium, there are not enough plot twists in a Mexican soap opera to bring it back to life this year. I received assurances that the new chair of Senate Transportation has no interest in bringing the bill back to the floor of the Senate, and without his approval it will not happen.

Welcome to the new Democrat nanny state, where the politicians know best. In the Seattle bubble that covers the population area from olympia to everett, if your name on the Ballot has a D next to it thats all that counts, minoroity, female, gay, bi, trans. Is a tie breaker if two Dems want the same political post. And above all a fanatical resistance to Trump, the 2nd ammendment, along with free speech that is not in lock step with the progressives will not be tolerated.

We play the "R" and "D" game to our detriment.
We all want the same things.
If this thought triggers your programmed response meme, that should be proof enough for you.

I disagree completely. There are things one party wants that are diametrically opposed to what I want.

As human beings we are all the same. We all want love, acceptance, health, support, self expression, safety, comfort, meaning, growth, evolution, and for tomorrow to be better than today for ourselves, our kids, and the other humans. That, and a mid sized, light weight, powerful, economic, sexy-yet-practical, off-road/on-road motorcycle we can ride across country or across town for less than $7,000.00 new with Brembo's and Ohlins and ABS and cheap insurance.

That's all I intended to say.

Now, dogs, on the other hand.....

I think you're being rather utopian about this. It is quite obvious that certain people care nothing about anyone other than themselves. Sure, they may claim to being doing things for the betterment of others, but the reality is far from that.

I certainly donít see what rants about the 2nd Amendment have to do with lane splitting.
