Product reviews/experience??

Hello all,

I am looking at some new gear, and am wondering if any of you have any experience or thoughts on any of it. Recently you were all very helpful with suggesting the Sidi Vortice boots.

Here are the items I am looking at:

A* T-GP Pro textile jacket OR A* T-Jaws waterproof textile jacket
A* GPX short leather gloves OR A* Celer leather gloves
A* SMX-6 waterproof boots (additional pair over my Vortice's for relaxed days)
A* Jagg leather pants OR Sedici Dino leather pants
A* GP Plus R leather jacket OR A* Jaws leather jacket
Sedici Alonso Hybrid pants

I plan to buy:
Textile jacket as last was damaged on a recent lowside
Leather riding pants with NO pucks
Textile pants
Short gloves
Relaxed riding boots
and POSSIBLY a leather jacket (though I do already have a Sedici 2 piece leather set, just want another leather jacket to go with the new leather pants)

Thanks for the input!! I appreciate it.

For short gloves you might want to consider the Knox Orsa. I have a pair in medium I would be willing to sell, as it turns out that although they are very protective and pretty comfy I am not a short glove guy.

Regarding A* gloves you might want to look for any crash reports regarding a given model. While the upper line stuff is very highly regarded (I have early GP Pros and love them), I recall seeing some pics of pretty badly shredded inexpensive A* gloves. Held gloves are generally really nice too. I've had three pairs and liked them all. I also have a pair of Racer gloves that are super comfortable. Speaking of gloves, if anyone has some A*s Tech Heated Gloves in medium, I'll buy.

For textile jackets and pants, Revit gear is quite nice and worth looking at. My too-hot-for-leather weather textile jacket is a GTR-Air. My wet/cold weather rig is a Scorpion EXO Commander, with First Gear Hypertex overpants I got in a trade. The Scorpion actually makes a pretty great year-rounder, though I wear leather whenever it's dry.

Or you could be like my hardcore commuter buddies and just get a 'Stich.
