Yes, the hourly wage works out to be pretty dismal unless you charge like Vanson does. Regarding the sewing, I have almost pulled the trigger once or twice on shoe patchers like the Singer 29K. One of the those would be da' bomb for this repair stuff. But I end up saying to myself that this will probably be the last suit that I redo, so I'll suffer through the hand stitching. I've said that about six times now.
