NBC to Broadcast MotoGP/WSBK

NBC Sports has signed global motorcycle racing property MotoGP to a multiyear media rights deal, a move that gives the series newfound exposure in the U.S. and continues to build the broadcasterís motorsports portfolio.

This is great! I don't have cable, but I think I can stream nbcsn from my home Xfinity cable streaming tv service that come with the internet package...I'll have to look.

However, I prefer to record and watch later, so that will be challenging. At least the handful of ones on regular King5 NBC, I will be able to record on my Kodi box.

That's really awesome actually thanks for sharing. I have missed watching MotoGP a ton and just didn't want to shell out for the online payment.

From another forum it was noted that not only will the coverage be delayed, but also in an abbreviated format. Don't expect it to be as good as BeIN sports which includes full coverage and practice sessions,... but much better than nothing.

Most races are only 45-50 minutes so if they show all of it in a 60 minute block with commercials I'm fine with that. I don't have time for all the practice and qualifying sections

Meh, with both bothers on Honda and race officials being completely unwilling to do anything about MM's shenanigans, I'm done with MotoGP.

Thanks man!

All set for MOTOGP, WSBK does not come up yet in a search, but I am sure it will soon.

The end of the 2015 Season left an extremely bad taste in my mouth but I guess time heals all wounds. Plus it looks like it might be the last year for VR46 and so it would be nice to see if he can put together a couple good races.

MotoGP was easy to find to record the series. WSBK was a bit difficult to find. I tried WSBK, then World Super Bike nothing came up in the search. I then tried just Superbike and there it was.

Thanks again.

Darn, I already paid my $160 for the motogp.com subscription. Oh well, at least I can watch the moto3 races, which can be a real hoot.

In fact, I just saw where the motogp at Qatar is cancelled due to the Corona virus, but moto2 and moto3 are still going to because the teams were already in the country when the quarantine was established.

Yeah I was holding off on plunking down for the subscription because of the way the wuflu is going.

This season will probably be a really weird one schedule wise.

Really? Y2K. Mad cow disease. Ebola. Familiar pattern? Is this different? Doesn't seem that way to me. Seems like another way Wall Street and their crony asshole buddies to make money off the panicked masses. Give me a break. 6 people die in WA and everyone fuckin freaks out. Thousands die EVERY DAY because of gun violence and no one gives a shit. Thousands die EVERY DAY due to smoking and no one gives a shit. Thousands die EVERY DAY because of our shitty eating habits and no one gives a shit. But 6 people die and we gotta push the panic button. I hate Trump, but he's right about one thing; our "media" needs a hot tar enema. And if there's one thing this planet needs, it's to cleanse itself of 99% of its human inhabitants. I don't think washing your hands "thoroughly for 20 seconds" is gonna make one bit of difference. Isn't it airborne?

It's only airborne in the immediate vicinity of a contagious person, it's very much transmitted by contact. Ebola has never been a real threat of going global, aside from a couple scares. The media does blow it out of proportion, no doubt about that, but it would very rapidly spread through a concentrated gathering of people like a sporting event. If you want to stop it, you've got to take big steps, something the US hasn't done yet. Probably in part because Trump is afraid it will hurt his reelection.

Since this isnít a political forum I wonít tell you actual facts about Trump responding to shut down air travel from China while the other side was saying how racist he was. First to act! But thatís for another forum, keep it to motorcycles youíll be better off.
