Here's the thing; if you get into legal trouble related to your motorcycle, the opposition, be they the government or another party's lawyer, insurance company, or other legal representation will look for anything they can find that will paint you as irresponsible, reckless or somehow less than upstanding. So if you post up videos of your stunts, your exciting rides, or tell stories of your slightly exaggerated riding skills, or if someone you know or ride with does the same with you as the subject matter, that could come back to haunt you in court proceedings. None of the stuff any of you have posted about this incident, nor any of this rider's social media and forum posts are going to benefit her position.

Whatever you post here may someday bite you in the butt. Or someone else.

Wow.. She admits to giving him the finger, yelling profanities (Provoking Assault?), pushing him and headbutting him (Assault?), and acts like she did nothing wrong. I wonder if she will do anything different the next time she encounters an angry driver.

Just the facts, not really concerned about who or who wont benefit.

Wow... You want to victimize the initial aggressor in this case? An individual who, from all the reports from third parties, was the one who initiated the violent confrontation. You really want to victimize the person who was the actual Road Rager?

At this point, I have to ask the question: who was Bruce Jones to you? Was he a friend, a family member, or a respected coworker? If there is no connection, I can't fathom any reason why a fellow motorcyclist would be so forgiving of the actions of a road rager in an SUV, and yet vilify the motorcyclist who didn't do anything warranting said actions.

Let me be clear hear, I'm not gonna tell you that Aubrey Bowlin did the right thing. What I will say is that there's enough evidence for me to argue that whereas Bruce Jones was acting out of anger, Aubrey Bowlin ended up acting out of fear.

No. Bruce Jones did not get what he deserved. He got one possible outcome of a violent situation that he instigated, and initiated. A situation that went horribly out of control.

  Here

So many gems in that piece: "when she questioned his behavior with a gesture". I have to remember that one.

And speaking of "piece", love how both interviewer and interviewee are all open carry in the video. I'm not all that big on packing and it seems ostentatious here, but for a woman riding alone, definitely strap on a hand cannon if you're trained on it and not wacky in the head. Hell, I can think of at least two recent rides when my day would have gone better if I'd been.

Very glad she is safe and defended her self from that monster. There are so many sad cases of violence against young women in the US.
