Nothing stock for me. Money no object? A Roland Sands or Jesse James built bike with a CBX engine in a super standard chassis.

Hey all

This thread isn’t that old, and I love the question.

It may be a boring answer but I’ll just dump a few grand into upgrades for my Bandit 1250

I find it to be a Goldilocks bike, not the best at anything, but decent at most things.

It just needs a few upgrades

I'll take a Honda NR750 and a Yamaha R7, kitted. If I'm allowed three a OWO1 in Rainey Marlboro livery.

I have never, not one time, done a valve adjustment on a Japanese motorcycle. Not once. And I have had MANY and have been riding since the 70's. I have also had 5 Harleys. Same deal. Never went into an engine. Ever.

Any Duc guys can say that?

Dang...I must have this backwards... There has not been a single bike I've owned that I've not torn into.

Since smoking has fallen off a cliff (thank fuck), I'm surprised BIC hasn't got into the disposable motorcycle business. Comes with a sealed tank of fuel: when that's gone you throw it away.

You guys don't dream very big. Get me one (or more) MTT 420 RR bikes.

420 horsepower, 500 ft/lbs of torque, and a freaking turbine engine.

You're right, I don't dream about a bike with a 500# dry weight and a 68" wheelbase.
