Looking for road information, Willamina, OR to Beaver, OR

I have a friend in the Dallas, Oregon area and was hoping to get over to see him. Looking at Google maps the routing is Highway 101 and 22. I notice that there is a longer route between Willamina and Beaver which looks as if it would be more fun. As I will be on a heavy bike intended for touring I would like to avoid gravel. A few years back I rode Carlton to Beaver which has some of the same road toward the west portion.

This would be the route. Has anyone ridden this and know if all paved? Best I can tell from Google satellite view it is paved.

Two Sources that show paved versus gravel.

www.bing.com/maps shows your route as paved

Benchmark maps {printed and avenza ready) - Shows paved versus gravel and are made in Oregon.

Sorry I am not in your area to say haw good the road is.

That route is paved. Upper Nestucca turns into gravel for about 3 miles if you take a right from bible creek, but so long as you make the left turn onto Nestucca you are good. Be warned that parts of Nestucca river road is littered with potholes and is in various forms of disrepair, but it does get better as you get toward blane. Just keep on your toes and watch your speed on blind corners. I don't recall bible creek being much better, but overall that is a fun route that is worth checking out.

Here is my favorite route through there, but it starts a little higher up North in Carlton, with no gravel.

Few years ago, on the way back from a motorcycle trip, we took this exact same route heading up to WA. All paved and a fun little route from Willamina. More like a goat trail, but fun.
